I thought some of you guys may have setup a linux server, thats why I am asking here lol

And what sucks is there has to be a way to do it, when I look in the gamespy server list other linux boxes show up

I tried both and it didn't list it either way.
I tried using ASE and ingame browser, no joy.

Hi,
are you using the dedicated filter in the ingame browser? If yes, try without it. Maybe the ingame browser looks for a "yes" in the "Dedicated" server rule then and finds none, because it is "linux". Same problem with ASE which I mentioned in the ASE message board but with no reply.

Hey Guys,
I'm having a problem setting up a linux dedicated bf1942 server.
I think it's setup ok, but it does not get listed in the game.
I think it might be the port is closed, and I checked iptables etc. and they seem ok.
Any ideas ?
