Screenshots of The Build Engine running with the Redneck Rampage data files have been added to the port's screenshots section. I'm not sure if the game is really dark or there's a palette bug in the engine, but I had to double my desktop's gamma to get these pictures, and you'll probably need to do something similar to see them well (RR Rides Again had the same problem). This game crashes a lot in my port; probably a palette bug similiar to the one that used to plague Duke3D until specific support code was added...which would explain the darkness of the visuals, too. Easy to fix, but not worth the research unless an actual game port was to progress. The usual disclaimer applies: this doesn't mean you can play Redneck Rampage (or any other Build game) under Linux at this point, it just means the base engine is more or less compatible if Xatrix/Grey Matter was inclined to permit a port of the game logic (which, several qualified people are willing to do for free, under NDA, if you happen to be listening, kind gameshop.) If anyone will donate legal copies of other Build games, I'd like to get screenshots of them with the ported engine, too.
