- New SSL certificates. (posted 2002-08-13 07:34:53 by icculus):
Our SSL certificates for the IMAP and web servers have expired, and I have generated new ones. Don't panic if you get new warnings about certs being different. If you are a Mozilla mail user, and permenently accepted the IMAP cert, you may need to dig into your config and delete the previous certificate before you will be allowed to read your mail. This is done via the menubar: Edit/Preferences. Click the Privacy & Security/Certificates branches, click the Manage Certificates button, choose the Web Sites tab, find the Courier Mail Server/icculus.org branch, and hit the Delete button. Say OK. (whew!) Next time you connect you will be asked to accept the certificate again. If you permently remember it, you'll be doing this again in 365 days. :) Other browsers and email clients probably have similar instructions. Problems and questions to me.
