  Near Death Studios has contacted me in regards to porting their game, Meridian 59.

  For those that haven't heard of it, it's one of the first MMORPGs in existance. It looks a little like Ultima Underworld, and you can see where games like Dark Age of Camelot borrowed heavily from Meridian 59. 3DO used to own the game and run the servers, but Near Death (a company made up of the coders that originally wrote Meridian 59) has bought the rights to the game and plans to keep it going and enhance it.

  Admittedly, I haven't played it, but it looks like a game that will be fun for people with lower-end systems and people that like a higher-quality of interaction with other MMORPG players.

  Anyhow, if you'd like to do the port, please contact me and I'll put you in touch with the developers. The work will not be high-paying, but it might be worth it to have a game like this available to Linux users.
