Wolfire Games has clearly had some success with their Humble Indie Bundle, pushing it to over one million dollars (and counting!) in less than a week.
To celebrate the success and spirit of the Bundle, Wolfire has decided to open source Lugaru!
We are hosting a Mercurial repository for Lugaru, and I will be applying good patches from the community. If there's a bug that's been bothering you, or a feature you always wanted, this is your opportunity to take matters into your own hands.
The source code is available under the GPL, and we have supplied data that encompasses the demo version. You can't resell the data, and Wolfire is happy to sell you a full version of Lugaru that will work with this source code.
The hg repo for the source code is here. To grab it, use this command:
hg clone http://hg.icculus.org/icculus/lugaru
