(No, this isn't about Serious Sam. That's coming soon though, I hope.)
I'm looking for beta testers for the Linux port of Candy Cruncher, by Pyrogon, Inc.. I am only taking a very limited number of beta testers, and plan to start the beta this Friday. The game uses SDL, and as such is not necessarily bound to X11. Taking that into account, favor will be given to applicants that have more exotic configurations, so that I can make sure that they all work.
There's no pay for this, except the chance to play the game before it's generally available, and I will be happy to send recommendations to game companies if you're looking tto work as a professional game tester.
The game is insanely addictive (think Tetris-style addictive), appropriate for all ages, and just downright fun. It does not use 3D hardware, nor does it need a fast processor, so if you can get graphics on your Linux box in some form (even through aalib), you can run Candy Cruncher. BSD people with Linux binary compatibility should apply, too.
If you'd like to be a beta tester, send a mail to betatests@icculus.org telling me why you'd be a mad, whack, l33t beta tester.
Thankya.
