  (For all those that waited more than a year...)

  The beta for Serious Sam: The First Encounter is now in effect!

  Things to note:

  • No, it's not network compatible with win32. Yes, I know this sucks. Linux players can play amongst themselves, though.
  • You need the retail First Encounter disc to install the game. The package you'll be downloading has an installer.
  • No, you can NOT play The Second Encounter at this time, but hopefully you will be able to in the future. I also know that this sucks.

  Go download.

  UPDATE: There was a bad problem with the installer. It's fixed. Now there's only minor problems with the installer. :) If you downloaded it before, download the new "beta1a" version that's up now and run the /where/i/installed/ssamtfe/uninstall script before installing the new version.
