Symel GIF Cartoon Thirteen: The Bug Fairy

If you are using a graphical browser then there is a problem on my site, if you are using a text based browser then this is normal. Here is a text version of the cartoon (speech in capitals): Symel is at her computer coding. She complains about software bugs just before a fairy appears. Symel asks what she is and the fairy tells her that she is the Bug Fairy, who visits software developers all over the world. She also says that since her web comic is ending she is seeking new programmers to annoy. She inputs a bug into Symel's code and suddenly her computer displays a Blue Screen of Death, even though she isn't running Windows. DAMN YOU ANDY WEIR! Symel exclaims.

Comments: this is a homage to Andy Weir's "Casey and Andy" web comic strips. Casey and Andy was one of the best web comics out there and the Bug Fairy was a poignant representation of the feeling that we software developers get that something unseen is wreaking our code (of course for Windows users this is true, it is called Microsoft programming!). Andy Weir actually was a programmer for Warcraft II, though he did not enjoy his time at Blizzard (though given he is listed for the installer that raises some interesting questions...).

Note: the Bug Fairy sprites are copyrighted by Andy Weir and are not under the GFDL, it is used under fair use as a homage (which he did say you could do). I might draw a GFDL mimic later.
