Have a bit of an issue here using the open function of TCPLink to create a<br>
connection to a remote server (Doesn't seem to ever progress to the opened<br>
event. The custom connections seem to work fine on a windows dedicated<br>
server or windows hosted server but never seem to even establish a<br>
successful connection on the linux dedicated server. I have found some<br>
reference about this from 2007/08 but nothing afterwards. Are there any<br>
differences in the way we have to establish a connection via the uscript for<br>
linux (outside of the OS differences) or is this just a bug that has not<br>
been fixed?<br>

The error on the linux server is as follows:<br>

Log: CheckConnectionAttempt: Connection attempt has not yet completed.<br>

PS - What is even more confusing is that according to netstat the connection<br>
was successful. I also noticed when the connection is attempted on a windows<br>
server it occurs slightly later in the startup sequence, in contrast to the<br>
linux server which seems to be attempting to connect before the server even<br>
logs the FSTUNClient statements (which typically seem to occur right before<br>
normal startup).<br>

Orb fix has been working on a server i've been playing on for a good 5<br>
hours straight at least last night going by reports. Although more<br>
reports of missing HUDs (which seems to be a bit of a problem in 2.1<br>
anyway) There are usually a few people that get the problem, but there<br>
were more reports of such happenings with the mutator running, not<br>
sure if it's linked but who knows.<br>
