</div>It is a command that tells SELinux to stop enforcing its rules. If you<br>
invoke the command with a "0" argument, it tells SELinux to switch to<br>
"permissive mode". You can turn enforcing mode on again by using "1"<br>
instead of "0" with the same command. (trying executing "man setenforce"<br>
at a shell prompt for more info)<br>

Basically, it's a good first step to ensure that SELinux isn't part of<br>
your problem.<br>
