That just means the Linux community for the game does not mean enough
$$$$ in their pockets.

By seeing the small size of the current US east coast UT3 windows PC
online playing community, it's no wonder. I see servers all the way
west to Chicago and Texas, and all the way east to UK and Germany. 90%
are empty most of the time. So, if Linux was even at 10% of the
potential PC gaming community, the balance sheet makes it a tough sell
for a "High Priority" project.

What is very evident from playing this game,
#1 It's the greatest game I have ever played, much better than UT2004,
so I am glad I bought it and play it on my XP_64/ FC5 dual boot game
box. Warfare is awesome.
#2 You need a very high end PC to play at decent frame rates (CPU, vid
card, and memory)
#3 Nvidia and ATI drivers are still not optimized, ATI just sucks for
certain cards. The 8800GTS with 320mb and 640mb do not run so well as
you would think.
#4 There are many hardware and driver issues

So, when and if it does come out, there will likely be issues. I figure
the MAC and XBOX versions will come out long before the Linux, if it
does come out at all. If and when it comes out, I will switch to
playing with Linux if there are no issues. I suspect that video driver
issues will be a pain though. Go figure, 6 month after release the
there are still serious diver issues on XP machines.
True.
But the paychecks are made possible by the customers.
We tend to forget this tiny detail. I guess the corporate brainwashing is
working...
