You can bind joysticks to keypresses via something like joy2key or some other keybind app. It comes in handy when you come across a game that doesn't have any joystick support. Heres a <a href="http://www.linuxlinks.com/Software/Utilities/Keyboard_and_Joystick/">

</div><div><br></div><div>Left triggers are Jump/Crouch, left stick is strafe (click stick to enter/exit vehicle) and I've assigned 5 common weapons to the D-Pad and one of the middle buttons. Other weapons are on the right-side buttons where I can reach over (awkwardly), plus I can hit weapon keys on the keyboard without putting down the gamepad.
