UT was indeed awesome, and it's still the only title that I'd play to
this day (if I could find my copy). UT2k3 was an utter failure, and
UT2k4 wasn't much better. The only thing the latter had going for it
was Onslaught, which sucked on public servers anyway (most people on
pubs don't know the definition of 'teamwork'). The game's physics and
look were all fail compared to the awesome look and feel of the
original title.

UT3 brought back some of the good that was in UT, but not nearly
enough. Of course, I've only played the beta demo a few times at a
friend's house - my retail copy collecting dust somewhere in my room.
I (obviously) haven't played Warfare, but for DM, I still prefer the
gritty look and old school feel of original UT.

That said, I'd love to give the full version of UT3 it's fair shot. I
do own the game, and it'd be a shame to waste the IRC network's
kindness (I won the game in a contest) in giving me the game by just
selling it or giving it away. But as previously mentioned, I've no
interest in UT4, or any other future titles from Epic.
