May be a bad binary, then, or you missed overwriting the original  
binary...  Here's mine, which is definitely the new test binary,  
since most of my hanging bugs have gone away since I installed it:

md5sum ut3-bin
29606cab80b6d89d89a5ca0baad10266  ut3-bin
