The fact of the matter is, the people that are holding out, like
myself, are thinking a little bit more long term; we want more games
ported to the GNU/Linux OS. By showing that we have a presence, we are
convincing video game-makers to port games to GNU/Linux, and in a
timely manner. Epic stands to lose a lot of money; I estimate at least
$500,000 (10,000 Linux users that would buy the game) is lost because
Linux users are not buying now.
