[ut3] 64 Bit Linux Version?

Is it wise to order an 64-bit linux or is it better to get a 32-bit linux ?
and to which Linux distribution is the port done with ? (Debian based,
RedHat base, SuSE, Gentoo)
I mean you guys do some test with it, which linux are you running ?
