weird bug?

Hi,

I installed ut2004 on my Linux (Gentoo, Kernel: 2.6.26.7 i686). I runs quiet
good but i don't have a mouse in the menu and ingame i looks like a minimal
move of it turns me 10time. Its unplayable.
On my Laptop it works wonderfull.

Some information about my pc:
  Graphic:  GeForce 7600 GT
  Driver:     nvidia driver version 173.14.09
  CPU:       AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ EE
  RAM:      1024MB DDR2 800Hz
  X-Server:  1.3.0.0-r6
                 Xinerama enabled
                 2 Screens (1920x1200 & 1280x1024)
