No, you shouldn't. If you have a decent system, you can bump the VARSize 
number to 64 (which will help the AS-Mothership map, and a few others), 
and otherwise 32 is fine for all scenarios and hardware. It's not your 
aperture size, it's how much of it UT2004 will use...setting it too high 
will kill performance as well as setting it too low.
