You wouldn't want to match that to your aperture size. You'll want to
set it to something a good deal less than the amount of VRAM you have,
since you still want to have a lot of room left for textures and
whatnot. VARSize sets the amount of memory that is allocated to the
GL_vertex_array_range extension.
