[ut2004] Tuning guide?

If you read through the list archives, there are a variety of tuning
tips that have come up.  Your problem sounds similar to the one I was
having....I didn't have AGP enabled under linux so it was really slow

cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status

Should tell you if AGP is enabled (assuming you have an nvidia card). 
Hopefully someone who is more knowledgable can jump in and help you out
if you are still stuck.
