I don't know if I'm missing anything, but it looks ok to me. As I said
in my first message, ALSA works fine with everything else that uses
ALSA. (xmms, mplayer, esd, etc.)
As for udev.rules, I'm using the default one that came with 0.021. The
only things I've changed in there are entries for my video card and for
my external USB drives.
