Unreal Tournament 2004 on Linux

Would like to check out Unreal Tournament 2004 on my RedHat 7.3 machine. 
 Running 2.6.3 kernel and Matrox G450 video card.  When I run the 
command ut2004demo, I get the following:

    $ ut2004demo
    open /dev/[sound/]dsp: No such device
    Couldn't set video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual


    History:

    Exiting due to error

Haven't got sound card going in new kernel yet but expected it to run 
otherwise.  What am I missing?
