[ut2004] patch broke my server

It crashes, no useful output in the log, it just crashes.  No useful output in 
the console either.  I downloaded the Linux server file again but was unable 
to transfer the file from one machine to the other, it stalled each time and 
at the same point.  I used the split command to make the file smaller and 
that *almost* worked.  There were errors when I tried to join the file.  I 
downloaded it again and sent it directly to the machine on which it will be 
installed.  I will test it in the morning and if it works, I will install the 
CBP and then mutators and additional maps.

I suspect I did not have a server version that was compatible with the patch.
The patches (except for the one released today) crashed my client and I had 
never patched the server before.
