that is good to know, I never got enough time to play ut2003 which is why i was
trying to install it again (my IBM disk died the other week, which had a
working install on) but ut2004 should be out soon I hope :)

Yup, have tried that also, I went through the bug reports/tracker on
icculus.org and couldn't find anything that had been mentioned or fixed before
:-/ I was thinking about doing a quick redhat (or whatever) install and just
copying the game dir over from that (that should work, shouldn't it?)
