Linux startup troubles - 'script mismatch'

Hello everybody,

Maybe someone can help me - I haven't found anything useful in the net!

ut2k3 install went fine, no errors were reported. However, when I try to start 
the game with 'ut2003' in a console window, I get the splash screen first and 
then after a few seconds, nothing, except this:

C++/ Script class size mismatch

History:

Exiting due to error

Has anyone a clue what is happening? I already updated my video drivers (chip: 
tnt2, newest drivers), but there is no change. Even if I try to use the XFree 
generic nv driver, nothing changes. So I suppose the problem has to be 
elsewhere. But where?

Runtime version of the game is 2199, I didn't manage to apply the 2225 patch 
yet.

Someone got a hint?
