[ut2003io] 2225 on RH 9 crashes

Actually it looks like it's unicode or something like that ... you just
need to strip out the nulls .... this is the command I use to do it...

tr -d "\000" < server.log > server.log.bak

BTW I run 2225 as both a dedicated server and a client on RH 9 with no
issues.  I'm also using the 2.9.12 fglx drivers on a P4 2.4.
