[ut2003io] radeon 9700 - all ATI users

Hi,

Download the version from here: http://www.schneider-digital.de/html/download_ati.html

Use this for the driver, it worked by a friend --> Hercules 9700 pro:

rpm -ivh filename.rpm 

cd to /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod
do a ./make.sh
cd to /lib/modules/fglrx
do a ./make_install.sh 
make sure agpgart is loaded...modprobe agpgart... (maybe you have to use the option
"try_unsupported_agp=1)
load the module modprobe fglrx
then run fglrxconfig
then startx
