Daniel and Ryan,
Let me start by saying: you two guys are what being cool is all about!!
:) I'm glad to see that you both are able to continue doing unbelievable
work for linux gaming, even though Loki imploded. I hope the rest of the
people from Loki were able to find new homes, where their awesome talent
and vision is appreciated (and well compensated ;) ).
I was wondering if there has been any progress on this bug, the one
where the mouse sensitivity seems to be related to the framerate? I was
hoping the patch would fix it, but it seems to still be there.
Apparently this doesn't effect everyone? Is there some workaround? Or is
it tied to a specific piece of hardware or software that I could replace
or upgrade?
It certainly doesn't make the game unplayable, but aiming is pretty
tough...enough so i've just kept to playing bots for now.
Anyway, here's all my info in case it helps:
Tyan Tiger MP, dual XP 1400s
VisionTek GeForce3 Ti200
SBLive value
2.4.19 from kernel.org
Debian testing (whatever it's called now that woody has become -stable)
NVidia 1.0-3123 drivers
XFree86 Version 4.1.0.1 / X Window System
