don't edit the ini-files UT2003 installs, instead edit the ones you find in 
$(HOME)/.ut2003/System/
That'll save you from hassle like this. The installed ini-files are used as a 
default. As soon as you start the game/server you should get your own copy in 
the directory mentioned above.
