I got that, ok.

In README.linux:

<cut>
UPDATING:
  If you are playing under the same login that you installed the game,
  you can go the "Play online/LAN" option on the main menu, and click the
  "news" tab. The master server that supplies the "message of the day"
  text alerts the game when there are new versions available and makes an
  "Upgrade" button available to you in the lower right corner. Click on
  it.
<cut>

is this windows only feature ?

what should i have in /etc/hosts ?

[gj at gregs gj]$ cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost

thats mine.

One comment, you should let linux users know that they purchased linux
version. This will give company better overal statistics. Right now it
seems like linux version is done for choosen games only, most popular.
