anisotropy patch from zinx.

Kill some dead code.

Interduce some dead code, commented out MMX lightmap mixing code.
(It is no faster!!)
(Thanks to chandlerc of #openquake for help writing it, not his fault
 that gcc can generate non-mmx code that as just as fast.)
