on the linux part have no idea..

but as far as my experimentation have gone...

I've just played around a little so far..but..

the one folder I KNOW you can ditch is the Movies folder.
I was able to start up a server , end play too after removing this.
it's around 800MB too so it's a hefty chunk of data gone
