Hi 
I seem to have trouble with ssamtse.
Sometimes the screen's display goes weird the top half stay normal.
The bottom part looks totally weird. 

Any advice.

I have something similar. The bug-report is here

Is yours like this too?
I already upgraded to the newest nvidia driver but this made no difference.

I get that too... latest nvidia drivers, GefOrce4, Pentium4 system running 
Mandrake

I just kinda cheat by pulling down console and using "please fly" to move 
ahead a bit until it clears up, then again to turn it off.

Sorry..it's just a workaround but it does work..
