flashing between connection-screen and maploading-screen (with windows+fullscreen+sdlversion)

there is an ugly grafic-effect between server-connection-screen and
map-loading-screen ...
it only happens with windows version(tested on winXP) and r_fullscreen 1
... it
seems that this effect came with the sdl-version ...
This flash shows the old screen content, which was drawn before the
connect-screen came.
sometimes it just flashes ... sometimes it stays some seconds
... has someone an idea how I could find the reason why it is happening?
