mingw fails to compile on Windows 2000: svn 1089

Windows 2000. 512 MB
Mingw fails to build ioquake3. Receive message Not enough memory for the
heap. No output for stdout. Takes about 10 - 15 minutes. CPU is under load,
no output, and then finally receive message that there is not enough memory
for the heap.

Last successful build on Window 2000 that I have is SVN 1085. SVN 1085
builds fine right after a failed build on 1089, using same parameters on the
Makefile.

BUILD_CLIENT_SMP = 0
BUILD_SERVER     = 0
BUILD_GAME_SO    = 1
BUILD_GAME_QVM   = 1
