[quake3] Broken GLX?

Yeah, I googled the error, and that was the suggested solution. I uninstalled
and reinstalled the NVidia drivers, but same error.

What's confusing me is, if it can't 'find matching GLX visual', how is it still
working?

One thing I noticed, on my other machine (that I didn't screw with), it uses
8/8/8 Color bits. 

If that makes any difference, I can't tell if there has been any impact on the
graphics or not... :-\
