The pak*.pk3 files can indeed be copied inside the bundle (which is
not very practical) or put inside the user's Library directory (~/
Library/Application Support/Quake3/baseq3 for instance) which I
believe is the place where mods go.... and that is quite easy to do,
I believe, for everyone....
