compiling under ubuntu

hi,

i've recently discovered tremulous and i was impressed by how good the
engine so i did a bit of reading and learned about the ioq3 project. i'd
just like to say thanks to everyone for all the work they've put into it.

i've set subversion up and downloaded a working copy of ioq3 and now i'm
trying to compile it under ubuntu 6.06 32bit and 64bit. i tried using the
make command and it worked for a while before crashing.  it's probably
something simple like a missing dependecy, but i don't know enough about the
output of the make command to figure it out.

it would be nice to be able to sort all the dependencies before the make
process started. are there any plans to implement a configure script in the
future?
