mailinglist as default bugzilla component owner?

Hi,

What about setting up a mailinglist/alias (or whatever bugzilla best
practice is) like e.g. quake3-maintainers at icculus.org as default
assignee of quake3 bugs? This way everyone interested would get
notified of new bugs automatically and doesn't need to poll
bugzilla.
