Tim,
You were right!!! :) Copying code/tools/lcc/etc/linux.c to
code/tools/lcc/etc/gcc-solaris.c made it work. I will be keeping a
separate HOSTFILE, just in case but it got *much* farther that way and
compiled all the way though. Thanks for requesting (again) that I use the
Linux HOSTFILE.. I'll be sending you a patch soon (it should also "make
all + make clean" in both code/tools/lcc and code/tools/asm)
