Svn revision #397 adds this.
On anything but Mac OS X (including Linux), it will refuse to use SMP,
even if you build the SMP binary and set r_smp 1.
On Mac, it now works as expected, with a framerate boost on multi-cpu
boxes (and no significant performance loss on single CPU systems that
enable it, surprisingly).
