Hello.

The game is installed in /usr/games/ioquake3 (ioquake3.i386, ...).
The game data are installed in /usr/games/ioquake3 (baseq3/pak1.pk3, ...).

If I put the pak0.pk3 file into /usr/games/ioquake3/baseq3 directory, the game
run correctly :

If you place pak0.pk3 in your home directory, it will take preference over the
patchdata in your application directory. So the patchdata is ignored and the
program dies.
If you put the patchdata (pak1, etc.) in your home directory I'm guessing it
will work fine. If it does then this is expected behaviour, not a bug.
