quake2-r0.15<br>
Linux v2.4.22 Slackware v9.1<br>

I am running a quake2-r0.15 server on the internet with a dual-homed (2
NIC's) AMD XP1600 box.<br>
(eth0 66.191.74.157; eth1 192.168.1.1)<br>
<br>
Clients from the internet can connect to my server without any problems.<br>
<br>
Clients from within my private LAN (192.168.1.2+) can connect to the
server without any problems.<br>
<br>
Problem: I can NOT connect to the server with a client on the same box
that the server is running on.<br>
<br>

I used to be able to connect as a client with the stock ID v3.20<br>

Is there some sort of a new global I need to set to be able to connect
to my internal server with quake2-r0.15 ?<br>

ps/ My firewall was turned off when I tried this and I have tried
different ports without any progress:<br>
