[quake2] q2max: quad/invulnerability cause extreme lag

My bet is that it has do do with q2 using something (dynamic lights, 
textures, etc) which your
graphics card doesn't support.

Can you try compiling w/o Q2Max and see if it still does it?

What kind of graphics card are you using?
