Quake2 stencil shadows..

Hello everyone,
Of course I guess everyone noticed this but.. Did you see that
QuakeForge's Quake2 0.1 port has Stencil Shadows? The code diffs look very
clean and simple (mostly in gl_glx.c, gl_rmain.c and gl_mesh.c and qgl.c
so far).. Perhaps it's easier under Q2 because q2 maps already have lights
in them...?
Wouldn't that be a valuable addition to Icculus' Quake2? If so, I'll try
to come up with a patch (from 14.1 onward..) in a few days time maybe..
(depending on how busy I'm at work.. :) :) :) :) ).
