Because there isnt a separate renderer yet?
Thats what the error meant when I got it. You need the q2max pak file so
that the gl renderer can find the files it uses for certain effects.
As to why this is like this, either the makefile had qmax support set to
yes, or there's a missing ifdef somewhere.
