Subject: A word of thanks and a problem

Hello.  First, I would like to say that I was very glad to find a decent
Dance Dance Revolution type game for Mac OS X.  I am a fan of the past
versions on the consoles and I have had envy for my friends that have the pc
game "step mania".  That game looks almost exactly like the real DDR.  From
what I have seen, pyDDR seems like a great game too.  It seems fine as it
is, but if you are accepting suggestions, it would be nice if pyDDR looked a
bit more like the real DDR.  I have a few questions concerning pyDDR.  I
downloaded pyDDR and kitchen sink last night for Mac OS X.  For some reason
the steps and backrounds can be loaded but Mp3s supposedly "can not be
found."  I have made a "pyDDR songs" folder in my music folder.  In that
folder i have a folder named "DWI".  In that folder, I have various song
folders that contain .dwi , .mp3 and .pmg and .bmp files for particular
songs.  When i try to play these songs, it says the mp3 could not be found.
I have tried stipping the tags using "Taggerwocky".  This didn't help.  I am
not exactly very good with computers.  As for converting my .mp3 to .ogg
files, i could not do this.  When i clicked on mp32ogg, i expected a simple
drag and drop program or something.  But it turned out to be a script or
something.  I dont know what this is or how to use it.  What am i doing
wrong? What could I do to solve this problem?  Is there something else I can
do?   If you know what is wrong, try to explain how to do it so that a
person like myself would understand.  One more question.  Does pyDDR play
.bms files?  If so, how do I get them to work?  I hope you can help me with
my problems (and that I am sending this message to the right place for that
matter).  Keep up the good work.  I appreciate the work that developers like
yourselves do for no required price.  If I get this program working properly
I may send a donation in hope that you continue to improve pyDDR and keep
developing for Mac OS X.  I'm sorry to bother you.  Thanks for reading my
message.

                                                                       From,
Andrew
