heh. i've managed to claim bug positions 1, 2, and 3 in bugzilla.
one's a minor hang bug WRT audio, one's a minor bug in the startup
script (doesn't really seem to break it, one-liner patch included), and
the final one is regarding multiplayer maps.

damned if i know what's wrong, but the map list is empty if i go to host
a server, which is kinda annoying.

servers show up in the server list, haven't tried joining one (given my
pitiful system specs, there's really no point atm)
