Actually a DDG search (docker panel fedora) yields nothing. Even archlinux does not have it, and in my experience, the AUR is pretty good. So, this is looking like hard to find.
Well, all that would help is a pointer and the current version number (if it is indeed 1.5, then that page is it).

I guess this is wmdocker. And the webpage I found with the source code is indeed the one. And it does not seem to have the "autohide" feature.
After installation:
$ wmdocker --help
wmdocker - version 1.5
Copyright 2003, Ben Jansens <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="mailto:ben@orodu.net"><ben@orodu.net></a>
Usage: wmdocker [OPTIONS]
Options:
-help Show this help.
-display DISLPAY The X display to connect to.
-border The width of the border to put around the
system tray icons. Defaults to 1.
-vertical Line up the icons vertically. Defaults to
horizontally.
-wmaker WindowMaker mode. This makes docker a
fixed size (64x64) to appear nicely in
in WindowMaker.
Note: In this mode, you have a fixed
number of icons that docker can hold.
-iconsize SIZE The size (width and height) to display
icons as in the system tray. Defaults to
24.
So, unless the docker I am talking about is different from the docker you first mentioned, I don't see an autohide feature.

No worries: I suspect that I can distinguish between Sir, Ma'am or Other pretty well.
