My understanding is this is what makes the startup notify work in the menu.xml; if enabled yes cursor spins, enabled no, not spinning;<br><br><startupnotify><br><enabled>yes</enabled><br></startupnotify><br>
<br>Example from the menu;<br><br> <item label="Xkill" icon="/home/foo.icons/AwOken/clear/24x24/apps/xkill.png"><br> <action name="Execute"><br> <command>xkill</command><br>
<b><startupnotify><br> <enabled>yes</enabled><br> </startupnotify></b><br> </action><br> </item><br></menu><br><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 4:56 AM, Paul <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:openboxml023478@rainslide.net" target="_blank">openboxml023478@rainslide.net</a>></span> wrote:<br>

Could you tell me what I have missed? I never got any kind of startup<br>
notification working with Openbox. I have enabled it in rc.xml for some<br>
applications and when I start them - nothing happens, no busy cursor or<br>
whatever. What I have to do to see it? Thanks in advance.<br>

I've only seen this work with KDE applications when also enabled in the KDE control panel.<br>
